Here is some important information about our services, how we work, what's expected and what we have to offer.
We offer both free and paid estimate appointment. What's the difference?
Free - Offered to previous customers, or locations within 5 mi of our typical service area.
Free estimates are also not guaranteed arrival. Often we may become overbooked on short notice. If a current customer adds work, or something happens on a job we have in progress - free estimates are the first appointments to get canceled or rescheduled to give us time to complete our current project. Free estimates are also not guaranteed as far as time to get estimate back to customer. Paid appointments and current jobs in progress take priority over free estimates.
Prepaid Paid Appointments - Arrival is guaranteed or your money back. Within 30 min of estimated time. Time to return estimate to customer is also priority over free estimates. We do service a large area, however in certain situations or short notice we may ask for prepayment of any appointment out of our typical service area.
To keep prices much lower than our competition we do not employ a secretary. This can be a great cost savings in most situations. However in times of extremely high demand, it is possible that an electrician is unable to call the next customer in the event of a delay or cancelation. We apologise and understand your time is important. We will discount any future work for a missed appointment if you allow us to reschedule without incident.
We do service about 800-1200 customers per year and we tend to miss or run late for about 5% of calls.
First thing 830AM appointments have a 100% show up rate. We recommend keeping that in mind when you schedule, please try to set up a first appointment. Afternoon appointments are often the times we may miss as work may change or run over from the first or second appointment of the day.
All times are estimated. Unfortunately due to current lack of skilled workforce, material shortages and other things out of our control we may need to cancel or reschedule any appointment that has not made a deposit. All prepaid and jobs with deposits are guaranteed.
All work is covered by our labor warranty. Standard Labor warranty is 1 year. We cover all workmanship for any device or item we install. Warranty is limited to circuit we repaired or installed.
Materials are covered under manufacturers warranty. Service call fees MAY be charged if issue is due to material defect of item and not an workmanship issue.
Homes have many circuits that may have existing or separate and unrelated issues. All warranty work would cover area worked in or installed. Issues can arise when GFCI's or Breakers trip or bulbs are burnt out due to consumer wear and tear or improper use. Improper use or customer overloading or tripping breakers due to improper use is not covered under warranty and would result in a separate service call and fee.
If an issue arises the customer MUST contact us immediately to schedule a warranty visit.
Any work by others or if an individual other than Buckeye Electrical Holdings removes or disconnects any item installed, warranty will become null and void.
Do not remove, rewire, disconnect or change devices before any warranty visit. Changing, moving, rewiring, removal of cover plates by others, disconnection of wires or devices will void your warranty.
Any issue that arises must be serviced by Buckeye Electrical Holdings before any other persons. Other persons or service removing, troubleshooting, changing, removing cover plates or messing with, wires, connection, wire nuts, devices or circuits we install will void warranty.
We may need to cut drywall to complete your project. Wires are often run inside walls.
We have no way of knowing whats behind the wall until we cut it open to run wires.
Sometimes we are able to get the whole job done without damaging, or cutting drywall.
However sometimes we may need to cut drywall more than anticipated.
We do not offer, guarantee or imply that there will be no need for drywall repair.
You may need and will be responsible for any drywall work.
Wire runs all through your home, if we are putting outlets in for a TV in your family room, it's possible that drywall may need cut in other areas or rooms to get power to the outlet or fixture.
We service all areas within 30 miles of 43215. Our service area changes with demand. As our schedule slows down we will gladly travel a little further to ensure our crew stays busy. However as demand increases we may decline work outside of our typically service area (up to 10mi from 43221). We also do not offer free estimates to any area outside of 270. Although we may service the area outside 270 we do ask for prepayment of trip charges to cover our travel. Trip charges are often credited back to customer upon acceptance of quote.
